Weddings at the United Nations | Mita and Chris

Blogged Weddings

Weddings at the United Nations seem to be amazing to photograph.  This was my first wedding at the United Nations and it was loads of fun.  Mita and Chris are part of the reason.  These two are extremely kind, fun loving and have wonderful family and friends.  On this day, Mita and Chris got ready at nearby hotels and had their ceremony at the Church of the Holy Family on 47st. in Midtown.  We even had a visit from the Archbishop of New York!  After the ceremony we headed to the United Nation for their reception which took place at the Delegates Dining Room.  To be honest, seeing half a dozen armed guards at a wedding reception was a first for me, but hey at least we all felt safe :).  The reception was beautiful and the night was perfect for some night shots.  I hope everyone enjoys the photos!

Dan and Katie's wedding was one of the most laid back weddings I have ever photographed.  For starters, there was no bride prep to worry about.  Katherine and Dan decided they would rather have more time for portraits, and I agreed.  We started shooting in Thompson park with their bride and groom portraits and family formals.  Thom ...
